Garbage will be collected from residences on Thursdays by a contractor. Bags can be placed outside on the pavements from Wednesday afternoon 16h00.  Residents are urged to use Wheelie Bins for their refuse. All Wheelie Bins must be removed from the pavement timeously on a Thursday.

The municipality supplies us with the following bags on a quarterly basis.  

The black bags should contain only domestic waste that is not recyclable.

Blue bags should contain clean cardboard, glass, paper, tins and metal, plastic and rinsed out, clean paper packaging that contained liquid, such as milk cartons.

The green bags should contain grass, leaves and branches broken into smaller pieces.

Please ensure that the correct type of garbage is placed in the relevant bag as the municipality refuse to take the bags which don’t comply with the above-mentioned guidelines.
